According to reports, 5417 booths are identified as
sensitive and 1223 as hypersensitive and 4.75 lakh officials have been deployed
by the Election Commission for poll duties.
Hectic preparatory activities are going on in 66,007 polling
booths for tomorrow’s assembly elections in Tamil Nadu, where out of the 234
seats for the state Assembly, polling in Aravakurichi constituency has been
deferred. In all the remaining 233 seats, polling will be held tomorrow from 7
am till 6 pm.
A total of 3776 candidates are in the fray including 320
women, whose fate will be decided by over 5.82 crore voters including 21 lakh
